During the Civil War, Union soldiers camped on this cemetary and broke down a number of headstones. Not having good records of were they were located, the townspeople mounted them on the wall. |

The Lady Chablis's house
I am not sure if this is the actual house, but it was the house in the movie. I almost got attacked by two dogs, but they ended up just licking my hand (everything is so nice in Savannah). |

This fountain is just for dogs. If you push a button, water pours into the lower cups for Fido to drink out of. |

Mercer House
This house was originally built for General Hugh Mercer (Grandfather of Johnny Mercer) but was the home of Jim Williams. Jim Williams was the man that killed Billy Hanson, which was part of the subject of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. |

The Waving Girl
This statue is actually of a real lady. For fifty years this lady waved her dish towel at passing ships. It was a bad omen if she did not wave at your ship. |
