Mission San Francisco de Asis is better known as Mission Dolores. Founded in late 1776, Mission Dolores is located in the southern part of San Francisco. I was lucky the day I visited as I was able to go into the basilica and take some pictures. Workers were laying new carpet and were on break. I had the run of the basilica. Below are pictures of the mission and basilica.
