Let's face it, I am a nerd and one of my hobbies is this web page.  Originally it started out as a test bed so that I could learn HTML, but of late it is a vehicle to keep my friends and family informed about what is going on in my life.

So where the heck in Houston do I live?  Well I live about 20 miles from downtown Houston in the city of Cypress, Texas.  This is about 75 miles from the Gulf of Mexico (Houston is one big city).  Below is a map to illustrate where abouts I Iive.

I travel a lot.  Some of it for work and some of it for pleasure.  Below are some of the places I visited in 2007.

This year I had the pleasure of visiting some exotic places.  Work sent me to Alaska, China, Singapore, Japan and Hong Kong.  The last two were basically overnight and in the case of Japan it was only the airport and the an airport hotel.
